Pay:
$24.62/hr – $37.58/hr (base pay range)
Shift:
Varied Days and Hours – 24/7 ED/UC
Employment type:
PRN (temporary)
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic medical radiographic examinations.
Participate in Clinical Imaging Teams (CIT) as necessary.
Maintain knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
Maintain department policies, procedures, objectives and ensure quality assurance and safety.
Check equipment, supplies, and accessories regularly and keep required stock for each radiography room.
Develop films and evaluate them for technical quality.
Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
Transport patients to and from the radiographic room, preparing and maintaining the room as needed.
Enhance professional growth through participation in educational programs, literature review, in‑service meetings and workshops.
Attend meetings as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
New Mexico Radiography Technologist (RRT) license or temporary license required.
ARRT R.T.(R) certification preferred at time of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate required.
