Overview Staff nurses provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Nurses function within the framework of organizational policies and procedures and demonstrate professional growth and accountability. They maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.

Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Function within the framework of organization policies and procedures and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
Maintain standards of practice, coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to provide quality nursing care.
Minimum Education Graduate of a nursing program.
Minimum Experience New graduates of a nursing program eligible.
Licensure / Certification Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC multistate license. BLS certification required.
Additional Qualifications Advanced certification in specialty field, if applicable. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
