Step Ahead ABA is hiring part‑time Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in Lake Station, IN to provide individualized ABA therapy in home, community and school settings. Flexible scheduling, ongoing support and clear advancement opportunities.
Base Pay Range $23.00/hr - $26.00/hr

What You’ll Do
Provide direct ABA therapy to children in the home, school or community.
Follow individualized treatment plans created by BCBAs.
Collect data and document each session accurately.
Communicate with your supervising BCBA and team regularly.
Show professionalism and respect in every client interaction.
What This Role Requires
Active RBT certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation and punctuality, with strong communication skills.
Comfortable working with children and families in home settings.
Able to stay active and engaged with clients.
Prior ABA experience required.
What You’ll Need To Succeed In This Role Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities. Great attention to detail and strong organizational skills. A dependable, professional work ethic. Ability to stay focused and flexible in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Work Environment This is an in‑home position, which means you’ll be working directly in clients’ homes. Expectations include:
Respecting the family’s home and space.
Leaving therapy materials on‑site as needed.
Being physically active with clients, including sitting, playing, lifting or running if required.
Policies & Procedures All team members are expected to follow Step Ahead ABA’s professional standards and policies. Upon hire, you will review and sign an acknowledgment of our employee handbook, which outlines these expectations in detail.
