Schedule : 32 hours per week, rotating shifts from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm. Saturday rotates.

Full‑time, non‑exempt position at Salud Medical Center, a leading community health center serving over 40 clinics in Washington and Oregon. We offer comprehensive medical, dental, pharmacy, orthodontia, nutritional counseling, autism screening, behavioral health, and additional community services.
Position Highlights
Pay: $41.66–$51.03/hr DOE, with potential for higher rates based on experience
Hiring/Retention Bonus
At Hire: $1,680
At 180 days (6 months): $2,240
At 12 months: $1,680
Bonus prorated based on Full‑Time Equivalent (FTE)

What You’ll Do
Provide care during patient visits, discuss chief complaint, obtain vital signs and complete health history, develop baseline physical assessment.
Perform phone triage to determine chief complaint, assess next steps, and recommend follow‑up care.
Document health history, assessments, actions and medications in EMR.
Assist providers in diagnostic procedures and treatments.
Perform IV starts, provide procedure information, site selection, discuss complications.
Communicate with patients regarding allergies and pre‑existing conditions.
Describe drug classes, side effects, onset of action, explain medication usage, obtain consent.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers and ancillary staff to develop, implement, and coordinate patient care plans.
Maintain patient flow and adhere to Joint Commission, HRSA, and YVFWC requirements.
Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in Nursing; Bachelor of Science preferred.
Minimum one year of clinical/outpatient RN experience preferred.
Active RN license in the state of practice.
Dual licensure in Washington and Oregon required within 120 days of hire.
For NLC states: proof of state license, suicide prevention training, WA license within 6 months if relocating, update primary state within 60 days.
Basic Cardiac Life Support within 90 days; ACLS preferred.
PALS preferred.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; level 10 communication skill.
Training in Early Periodic Screening & Development Testing and Women’s Health Exams preferred.
Knowledge of nursing concepts, procedures, medication effects.
Strong verbal, written, listening communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
Professional interaction with patients, families, and staff.
Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, EMR).
