Role Purpose The Radiology Technologist performs general imaging radiographic procedures for adult and/or pediatric patients to diagnose and treat anatomic and physiologic disorders.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
Inform patients of procedures with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Perform radiographic imaging examinations independently, in on‑call situations (if applicable), portable exams, and other tasks assigned by the department.
Minimum Requirements
Education
– Associate or trade school degree.
Experience
– No prior experience required.
Supervisor experience
– None.
Licenses & Certifications
– IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI); Radiology Technologist – Registered.
Preferred Requirements
2 years of experience (preferred).
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
