Join us as an Outpatient Therapist at Pawnee Mental Health Services, a non-profit Certified Community Behavioral Health Center serving underserved populations in 10 counties in North-Central Kansas.
Work Location & Service Area This position will be based in our Manhattan office and will require providing services in Marysville approximately 1–2 times per week.
Salary Range Base salary $68,000 – $78,000 per year.

includes:
Earn up to
$12,000 per year
in bonus pay by meeting client care expectations and holding groups.

Responsibilities
Provide trauma‑informed, evidence‑based mental health therapy to individuals, families, and groups in an outpatient setting.
Collaborate with treatment teams, natural supports, and external providers to ensure a wrap‑around approach.
Create and maintain person‑centered treatment plans based on clients’ unique needs.
Monitor client progress through ongoing assessment and documentation.
Demonstrate sensitivity to cultural and ethnic differences.
Complete agency trainings and certification in evidence‑based treatment models.
Provide psycho‑educational services to the community as assigned.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or related field.
Current, active, unencumbered license as an LPC, LMFT, LMLP, or LMSW (temporary license considered for up to 2 years).
Strong interpersonal and clinical judgment skills; ability to work with youth and adults ages 5 and up.
Ability to work as part of a clinical team and be self‑directed with minimal supervision.
Strong time‑management and organization skills.
Ability to acquire and practice new clinical skills as needed.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
Independent clinical license (LCPC, LCMFT, LCP, LP, LSCSW).
Experience/training in TF‑CBT, ABFT, or other evidence‑based practice.
1 year experience providing group therapy.
