Facilities Maintenance Technician I
Part‑time – 1st Shift (10:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday‑Friday)
Responsibilities
Cleaning the interior of buildings, including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls, using cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaning machines.
Disinfecting commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones.
Maintaining cleaning inventory and notifying management when orders are needed for replacement products.
Emptying trash and recycling bins.
Monitoring and filling bathroom supplies.
Completing minor facility repairs such as floor‑tape replacement, wall painting, switching light bulbs, and unclogging toilets.
Performing other activities as deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications
Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Ability to stand on feet for the full shift, reach, bend, stoop, and twist as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Ability to wear required PPE.
Experience operating floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners.
Ability to climb up and down stairs.
Comfortable working around chemicals used for cleaning.
Preferred
1–2 years of cleaning experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
