We are seeking a detail-oriented Radiology Technician to join our medical team. The individual will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, operating radiologic equipment, and assisting physicians in interpreting results. This role requires technical expertise, patient care skills, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly Operate X-ray, CT, MRI, or other imaging equipment safely and effectively Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and protective measures Capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician review Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as required Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment Document patient records and imaging results accurately Provide compassionate care and support to patients during procedures Required Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field Strong knowledge of radiology procedures and imaging equipment Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications (if any)
Must have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty within the past 2 years. Experience with advanced imaging technologies such as MRI or CT scans Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Certifications (if any)
Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent
