Profile:
A business architect designs and maintains the enterprise business architecture in support of business strategy. The architect designs the requirements, principles and models for the people, processes and technologies that support the company’s business capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Defines strategies, principles and standards to guide business architecture efforts across the organization.
Develops an enterprise understanding of the core and supporting processes of the business, including the people, resources and systems involved.
Ensures that technology investments enhance business capabilities and execute on business objectives.
Works across business and technical teams to ensure technology investment decisions deliver on business needs.
Creates business models and roadmaps, and assess capability and process gaps between the current and future states.
Acts as an advisor on major process and technology change projects.
Acts as a link between business and technical experts when designing technology solutions.
Ensures business and technical stakeholders are working consistently across domains to support the company’s vision and strategy.
Maintains knowledge on business and technology trends that impact the business environment.
Drive Software Tools rationalization across the Enterprise by collaborating with partner organizations and enable cost savings and risk mitigation.
Evolve Enterprise Business Capability model, Process Taxonomy and drive Business Architecture standards across the business portfolios.
Partner with Business and Technical Process owners to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and help optimize the processes enabling faster Time to Market and lowering Total Cost of Ownership.
Establish Reference Architectures, Composite Patterns and run Proof of Concepts on emerging technologies that can accelerate agile software delivery process.
Lead Enterprise Business Architecture Functions partnering with peers, business and technical stakeholders and development teams.
Plan and design methods for the optimization and integration of various technology platforms, policies, and principles that lead to target state implementation.
Produce robust, integrated functioning of various systems and technology interfaces.

Strong presentation skills with the ability to influence all levels of management.
Ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) skills.

Experience using SharePoint.

Experience
Over seven years of experience in leading business architecture efforts.
Experience in business architecture or business process designing.
Experience acting as a liaison between IT and the rest of the business.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business or Economics in Information.
