Job Description Summary Manage Delivery, Demand translation and Production readiness, taking into consideration efficient inventory management for Work-in-Process (WIP) and Capacity constraints. This role is aligned to support the RPCA Part Family, in close collaboration with the RPCA Make Shops, and will facilitate supplier problem solving for the Parts assigned. They will also own the execution of complex, multi‑site source changes to support improved connected flow within the part family.

Roles and Responsibilities

Define, manage, and improve sourcing strategies at part family and supplier level, including the execution of connected flow in line with the decentralized org structure.

Manage source changes to new suppliers, including multi‑year and multi‑site engagements.

Absorb total demand profile from all end items needing forging processes and translate total demand to a level production schedule within suppliers.

Collaborate with Site Materials Leaders and external S&OP, Forecasting, and Product Line teams to highlight and resolve constraints.

Analyze capability and total capacity of the production areas defined.

Integrate the management of loop design, input plan, delivery, return store levels, SWIP, and supplier performance.

Manage external WIP, commits and recommits from supplier.

Collaborate with Site Materials teams to define and apply elements of the production system and set pace for upstream supply chain.

Lead communication and response to all suppliers.

Develop specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field, serve as best‑practice/quality resource, stay aware of latest functional developments, contribute toward strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.

Act as a skilled influencer, able to communicate complex messages to others, serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues, lead projects with large‑scale business impact, explain difficult or sensitive information, build consensus, and develop persuasion skills to influence others on topics within field.

Manage team metrics and reporting to support team and Part Family Bowler metrics.

Impact approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization, and ways of working; influence quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of own team; exercise moderate autonomy while working within broad guidelines and policies.

Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems that impact the function, take new perspectives on existing solutions, and use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.

Travel up to 25% of the time.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university + Minimum of 5 years of sourcing and sourcing management supervision experience.

Salary and Benefits The salary range for this position is $116,000 – $154,000 annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus/variable incentive plan.
