Job Details
Starting pay range: $22.80 - $23.80 per hour.
Location: Columbia, MO plant – Home of the Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs.
Work Schedule 8:00 am – 8:00 pm or 8:00 pm – 8:00 am (12‑hour shifts).
Responsibilities
Processing and handling of raw meat including beef, pork and poultry.
Follow directives to ensure quality product while maintaining safety standards.
Troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
Daily sanitation work and cleaning.
Processing of supervised documentation.
Qualifications
At least 18 years of age.
1 year of continuous prior employment.
Ability to stand for entire 12‑hour shift.
Ability to work in cold/wet environments.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (bend, carry, push, pull).
Ability to satisfactorily complete a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
Must have a valid State‑issued photo ID.
Must have reliable transportation for any possible shift.
Must remove all jewelry, gauges, facial piercings, fake nails, fake eyelashes, and nail polish (even clear) before starting employment.
