Position: Shipping Clerk Lead Allied Printing Services, Inc. is searching for a Shipping Clerk Lead. The role is responsible for preparing, organizing, and coordinating all outbound shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery. This role works closely with the shipping manager and collaborates with multiple departments—pressroom, bindery, mailing, finishing, large format, and production teams—to safely move printed materials through the final stages of production and shipment.

What You’ll Do

Locate, package, label, and transport materials between departments to support production flow.

Prepare outgoing shipments in accordance with company standards and carrier requirements.

Verify shipment accuracy using packing lists and shipping systems, and document all outbound activity.

Inspect finished products for quality prior to shipment and safeguard materials during transit.

Schedule carrier pickups and communicate shipping details with internal teams.

Operate forklifts and pallet trucks safely to move materials and finished goods.

Maintain a clean, safe work environment and demonstrate consistent, reliable attendance.

Review production and shipping processes and recommend improvements as needed.

Provide support to the department in the event the department manager is unavailable or out.

What You Bring

High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

Prior experience in a shipping department, preferably within printing or manufacturing.

3–4 years of hands‑on shipping or warehouse experience.

Physical Requirements Walking 50%, Standing 50%, Lifting, pushing, pulling or carrying 25–50 lbs. and more. Ability to stand for extended periods and safely move materials weighing 500–750 lbs. using manual pallet trucks.

Shifts Available: 1st shift (8:00 am – 4:00 pm)
