The Logistics Specialist supports the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology (DLMP). You may spend time at both downtown Rochester and northwest Rochester campuses to support on‑site customers. General knowledge of laboratory products and testing processes facilitates quick onboarding and eases the ability to support the laboratory customer base. You will support receiving, distribution, inventory control, transportation, records management, warehousing, and storage of products. You possess subject matter expertise for supply chain related systems used within Logistics (ERP, point of use, databases) to support daily operational needs. You may support asset inventories and capital equipment processes, working with Finance and other administrative departments. You use LEAN Six Sigma tools such as 5S to maintain orderly stockroom and inventory locations. You are responsible for daily activities associated with the movement of materials throughout Mayo Clinic with standards for safety, security, and productivity. You perform other job related duties as assigned and may drive a Mayo Clinic vehicle on a regular or occasional basis. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of three (3) years of supply chain or other business related experience required. Associate’s Degree plus one (1) year experience will be considered. On‑the‑job training for all job responsibilities is provided. Must meet productivity standards and must be available for occasional overtime. Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record. Compensation and Schedule
Compensation:
$21.48 - $29.02 / hour Schedule:
Full Time, Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM Benefits Eligible:
