Job Summary Under general supervision, store, requisition, pick, distribute, and deliver general, medical, surgical supplies and equipment throughout the perioperative and procedural and other medical settings. Manage consignment, vendor‑owned inventory, and implants in accordance with policy. Perform receipt of purchase orders into the system and stage supplies for delivery. Provide direction to other supply chain technicians.

Audit, inspect, and verify work for quality, completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.

Lead special projects.

Oversee staff and regularly visit clinical areas to verify compliance with policies, procedures, and processes.

Prioritize workload and requests for supplies and equipment.

Provide input regarding performance to Supervisor or Manager.

Train other Supply Chain Technicians.

Manage consignment inventory and assist in reconciling with consignment contracts.

Identify usage and discrepancies related to vendor‑owned inventory.

Ensure implants have proper chain of custody and document according to policy.

Receive Purchase Orders in the system and stage supplies for delivery.

Resolve order discrepancies while adhering to department policy and procedure.

Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy.

Ship outbound packages utilizing appropriate shipping methodologies.

Store supplies in clean rooms, carts, and supply areas, using proper rotation.

Scan inventory labels to generate replenishment orders for both stock and non‑stock items.

Picks supplies from storage locations for distribution and placement into Case Carts, and restocking Exchange Carts such as Code (Crash) Carts and Procedural Carts/Trays.

Check various supply locations for expired or recalled products and remove them per policy.

Distribute oxygen tanks and minor equipment.

Deliver supplies and packages to nursing units, clinics, and other locations utilizing appropriate signature technologies.

Respond to phone calls, emails, and customer service requests.

Process issues and credits in the ERP system, ensuring correct cost allocation.

Report inventory discrepancies and document according to policy.

Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.

Utilize various computer technologies such as handhelds, package scanners, and software programs.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure par locations are free of dirt, dust, and trash.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non‑management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain or related field.

Proficient in typing, computer use, and quickly learning new software applications.

Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems.

Knowledgeable in operating office equipment (fax, copier, printer).

Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders to include coworkers, management, and clinical partners.

Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including active listening.

Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and problem solving.
