**Primary Functions & Accountabilities:** * Prepare patients for radiological procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.* Follow established protocols for patient care, safety, and radiological procedures.* Minimize radiation exposure by adhering to industry standards and best practices.* Obtain high-quality radiographs within an efficient timeframe while maintaining patient confidentiality.* Process and accurately digitize radiographic images, ensuring correct patient data is linked.* Prepare examination rooms for radiographic procedures, ensuring a clean, sterile, and organized environment.* Review radiographic exams for technical accuracy and ensure correct anatomical orientation of images.* Regularly check radiographic equipment for optimal functioning and compliance with legal and regulatory standards.* Demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety practices and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.* Assist with additional duties as needed, maintaining flexibility and a proactive attitude.**Qualifications:** * At least 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience preferred* Current Virginia Radiologic Technologist License required* ARRT Certification required* Ability to operate C-arm equipment safely and effectively.*This organization participates in E-Verify.
