Description NorDx Laboratory Support Req #: 52460
The Histotechnologist role is responsible for performing and monitoring anatomic pathology processes, recognizing and resolving issues. Responsible for accuracy, documentation, and required instrument maintenance.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Bachelor’s degree required
License/Certifications: Certification as Histotechnologist by a recognized professional organization (ASCP/National Society) required within six months of hire. QIHC (Qualification in Immunohistochemistry) preferred. Valid Driver’s license required.
Experience: Six months of Anatomic Pathology experience required.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required: May be asked to work at other sites/locations as needed.
