Our nationally recognized specialists treat a full range of musculoskeletal injuries and conditions, helping patients of all ages move, heal, and thrive.Join us and become part of a trusted network committed to excellence in orthopedic care.**Primary Functions & Responsibilities:*** Exercises fair and firm leadership of all Office employees, establishing and maintaining high morale in the department.* Monitors the level and standard of work produced by staff and guides, coaches, and advises as appropriate.* Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.* Provides information to patients and health care team by answering questions and requests.* Conducts regular performance reviews.* Oversees staff payroll, timecards, and paid time off.* Supervises all non-physician office staff and ancillary personnel, coordinating activities to accomplish the goals of the practice and the office.* Implements and monitors office policies and procedures.* Works with the management team and office staff to coordinate the functions of patient care services across the practice.* Ensures superior service for all patients of the practice.* Consults with patients to learn about their physical condition and symptoms.* Diagnoses movement dysfunction and develops a treatment plan.* Teaches patients how to properly use therapeutic exercise techniques.* Assists patients with the use of equipment such as wheelchairs or walkers.* Maintains patient records and documents goals and progress.* Utilizes knowledge of patient's diagnosis, signs, and symptoms presented and results of diagnostic studies to determine the patient's level of function.* Sets priorities and establishes realistic short-term goals and long-term outcomes.* Documents and maintains a plan of care for each patient which includes specific physical therapy orders in coordination with the medical plan of care.* Appropriately utilizes the capabilities of personnel in assignment of self and team members.**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:*** High proficiency with computers, MS Office, and practice management systems.* Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must, along with excellent leadership, customer service, and service recovery skills.* Excellent communication and customer service skills.* Excellent organizational and time management skills.* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.* Strong supervisory skills and ability to effectively delegate responsibility.* Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient and employee information.* Ability to remain flexible, adaptable and calm in unexpected situations.* Ability to exercise sound judgment in stressful circumstances.**Position Requirements*** BS, MS or DPT from an accredited school* Current Physical Therapist license* Current CPR Certification* Outpatient orthopedic practice highly preferredThis organization participates in e-Verify.
