Job Details We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate Transportation Engineer to join our engineering team. This permanent position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of transportation infrastructure projects, including highway design, roadway design, site development, and traffic systems.

Responsibilities

Design highways, roads, bridges, tunnels, rail, airports, ports, and mass transit infrastructure.

Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation to create detailed engineering plans and designs.

Conduct traffic studies and analyses to evaluate feasibility and determine solutions that improve traffic flow and safety.

Prepare technical cost, safety, and sustainability reports, proposals, and presentations.

Collaborate with managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.

Ensure all designs and projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation engineering.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation; knowledge of design software and engineering regulations.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex engineering problems.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) licensure; valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed for project work.
