Responsibilities The Linen Specialist role is vital in ensuring the availability of hygienically clean linen for patients and staff while maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Responsibilities include:

Receiving, storing, delivering, and replenishing clean linen throughout the hospital campus, clinics, and regional sites.

Accurately tracking linen stock levels, managing inventory, and inputting data into various software applications.

Prioritizing tasks and providing quick responses to customer requests within site‑specific guidelines.

Ensuring safe handling, transport, and containment of soiled linen, following infection prevention protocols.

Participating in quality assurance programs and continuous improvement efforts to enhance service and efficiency.

Using and maintaining motorized equipment for linen transport.

Expediting emergency linen requests and, when needed, assisting in managing linen at multiple locations.

Communicating effectively and working cooperatively with leadership, staff, patients, and other departments.

Accurately identifying textile attributes for various patient needs and floating to regional sites for coverage support as required.

Qualifications High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Job demands steady physical activity, including:

Manually transporting linen carts and continuous walking throughout the shift.

Moving heavy carts independently and operating motorized equipment.

Possessing a valid driver’s license may be required.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is not eligible for F‑1 OPT STEM extension.

Compensation Detail $20.00 – $25.92 per hour

Schedule Part Time

Hours/Pay Period 40 hours

Schedule Details 8‑hour work shift, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm. Days scheduled during pay period will vary.

Weekend Schedule Every 5th Saturday and rotating holidays.
