$75,000 - $95,000/year + $2500 Sign On Bonus
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience supervising underground utility construction on heavy civil projects.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Type:
Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule:
Monday–Friday; 1st shift.
Job Description
Lead and supervise crews installing water, sewer, and storm drain systems.
Plan manpower, equipment, and materials for daily and weekly operations.
Enforce OSHA, trench safety, and confined space requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and utility companies.
Monitor productivity, track materials, and control project costs.
Resolve conflicts with existing utilities or site conditions.
Mentor foremen, operators, and laborers to strengthen team performance.
Position Requirements
Strong knowledge of underground utility installation methods and trenching practices.
Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and project specifications.
Valid North Carolina Driver’s License.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal communication and teamwork abilities.
