A Day in the Life As a Deli Clerk, no day is ever the same. You provide exceptional customer service and have knowledge of deli meats, cheeses, salads, sandwiches, dips, and gourmet and hot case food items. You prepare delicious food that keeps customers returning. You will use tools such as meat and cheese slicers, food scales, fryers, ovens, and cash registers. Your aim is to guide, inspire, and ensure every guest’s visit is memorable.
