Under the supervision of the Chief of Staff, the Disaster Response Project Manager – a temporary position – carries out activities to support Bluebonnet Trails’ disaster efforts in response to the July 2025 Floods under the Crisis Counseling Program (CCP) Grant. This position oversees data entry, submits weekly reports to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), assists with scheduling crisis counselors and CCP staff at events within the community, and generates required progress reports for the duration of the grant period, of which the expiration date is not yet known but may continue through 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Reviewing data entry by CCP Crisis Counselors to ensure accuracy and thoroughness.
Submitting reports including weekly data reports and monthly/quarterly/annual progress reports with pictures and program highlights to Texas HHSC.
Event scheduling to ensure our Crisis Counselors and CCP staff are present at events across Burnet and Williamson Counties. This includes booking BTCS conference rooms for HHSC-sponsored training.
Attending routine calls and meetings with the BTCS CCP Team and Texas HHSC representatives.
Tracking progress: Monitoring key performance indicators to measure and report outcomes. This includes tracking expenditures.
Initiating performance improvement activities to address off-track metrics.
This role requires participation in mandatory training, which may involve occasional travel. The work schedule offers some flexibility, with standard hours between Monday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This position is PART TIME.
Location: Remote, with some travel and in-person meetings primarily in Williamson County.
Hourly Salary: $39.73 Annual Salary: $41,319.20/year
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Exceptional organizational abilities with strong self-motivation to meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Skilled in analyzing and interpreting data to support decision-making.
Proficient in creating visually compelling documents and presentations using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with project management or managing grants.
