Responsibilities
Establish and maintain the Front‑end department's environment and safety standards
Direct and supervise all day‑to‑day functions, duties and activities for the Front‑end department
Execute best practices, goals and Front‑end standards established for the department
Encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service under the Customer 1st strategy
Maintain inventory, pricing and promotions for the department
Monitor and control supply expenses, cash control and sales records
Prepare and maintain the department's budget and profit‑and‑loss reviews
Develop and implement a department business plan to achieve desired results
Schedule Front‑end associates to provide adequate coverage
Administer safety programs, report incidents and ensure compliance with laws and guidelines
Qualifications
Effective communication skills
Basic math knowledge (counting, addition, subtraction)
Ability to handle stressful situations
Retail or customer service experience
Knowledge and ability to respond to product questions and make suggestions
Experience with inventory management, pricing, and promotional activities
Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
Strong leadership, collaboration and coaching skills
Ability to manage cash control, sales and financial reports
Proficient with computer‑assisted ordering and inventory systems
Compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
