Opportunity

Support the operation of a fast‑paced packaging manufacturing facility. Must be able to conduct, maintain, test and repair electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Apply knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles in determining equipment malfunctions and restoring them in all areas of manufacturing.

Primary duties include installing, starting up and shutting down equipment in accordance with company safety procedures and OSHA requirements; informing appropriate management and line mechanics of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent dangers; maintaining company‑required performance and maintenance records for identified equipment; performing preventative maintenance functions as directed; assisting maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting; and performing other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, demonstrate a strong desire to learn the maintenance of complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.

What you need to succeed

Ability to maintain various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety regulations.

Thorough knowledge of electrical components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.

Computer experience/operation and PLC programming.

Flexibility to work any shift and overtime as required.

High school diploma or equivalent required; electrical background, military training and/or technical school preferred.

Offer contingent on passing background check, pre‑employment physical and drug screen.
