Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Litigation Attorney (active bar license of New York State) to join our legal team in Jackson Heights, New York. This is an onsite role that requires a strong commitment to client representation and legal excellence.
Responsibilities
Represent clients in various litigation matters, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing legal counsel.
Attend court appearances as required, representing clients effectively and professionally at depositions, motions, hearings trials etc.
Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and efficient progression of cases.
Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed of case developments and providing clear, concise legal advice.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies and ensure optimal outcomes for clients.
Maintain accurate and organized client files and case documentation.
Training will be provided to candidates who have years of experience in handling litigation cases.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active and in good standing with the New York bar.
Work authorization in the United States is mandatory.
Prior experience in Personal Injury law is a plus.
Experience in other areas of law practice as a litigator preferred.
Excellent legal research, legal writing, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
A commitment to providing high-quality legal services and advocating for clients' best interests.
