Position Description As an Applebee's® Assistant Manager, you will be engaged in all aspects of the day‑to‑day operations at the restaurant. You will lead the team, solve problems, manage stress, and ensure guests and staff are passionate about their experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure timely, friendly service according to company guidelines, achieving established objectives of the unit. Cultivate a culture in accordance with Flynn Applebee’s Premier Card of our core values and beliefs. Respond immediately to all verbal guest complaints and correct them. Prioritize guest contact by completing required table visits as set by Flynn Applebee’s standards. Maintain departmental inventory levels. Ensure product preparation and presentation meet company standards by performing line checks. Effectively schedule employees to meet sales demands. Maintain effective safety and security programs. Promote and lead restaurant organization, cleanliness and sanitation. Perform routine maintenance and immediately report required repairs to the General Manager/Area Director. Promote quality recruitment and referrals for potential team and management candidates. Promote Flynn | Applebee’s training procedures for new managers. Maintain a trained staff through employment orientation, individual training sessions, employee meetings and implementation of company policy and training systems. Participate in ongoing employee development using One‑on‑One and performance documentation, contributing to written evaluations. Assess employee efficiency, provide fair feedback regularly, and work with employees on development areas. Monitors acceptable employee performance and documents situations requiring disciplinary or corrective action. Ensure compliance with company policies, practices and procedures. Control costs in assigned departments. Comply with local, state and federal laws, regulations and guidelines. Drive bi‑weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories at the AD/GM’s request and be accountable for completion. Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork. Ensure sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and Flynn Applebee’s standards. Provide a role model for managers and employees. Develop proficiency with all store‑related technology. Be willing and able to work in all positions and assist in a team member role as needed (cooking line, expo, seating guests, bartending, etc.). Use the Management Development Program for continuous growth of leadership skills and proficiencies. Education and Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of restaurant management experience. Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus. Compensation

Applebee’s® Assistant Managers: $18.18 to $25.71 per hour, approximately $51,994 to $73,530 annually based on a 50‑hour work week. Potential for monthly bonus, where applicable by location. Competitive wages, profit sharing/bonus, medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, paid vacation, paid sick leave. No fixed deadline to apply for this position. Physical Standards

Work various shifts, including weekends. Stand and move well‑paced for up to ten (10) hours. Safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to 50 pounds.
