Duties
Assists the Business Manager in directing the operations and supervision of multiple food serve facilities, with up to 12 employees in different locations. Sets the pace and works with employees.
Checks work in progress to ensure compliance with established methods. Orders and receives supplies, stores and stocks supply items in all assigned facilities.
Responsible for cleaning, inventory, stocking and organizing each facility on a daily basis. Performs food service and cashiering duties a required. Completes cash reports, and makes daily deposits. Maintains clean and orderly work areas.
Orients new employees to work situations, compliance with health and safety standards, proper use and storage of tools and equipment. Provides information to workers regarding procedures, policies, written instructions and other work directives.
Occasionally may be required to work in any of the food service facilities when necessary. Provides administrative support as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service, visit: www.sss.gov.
Work hours may involve weekend, weekdays, holidays and night duty.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
Obtain (within first 6 months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute accredited agency is required (i.e. ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Program).
A food handler's certificate is required.
Must be able to work an uncommon tour of duty.
Work requires the ability lift and carries objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
