Procurement Team Member (2 – 4 days/week)
Part‑time position scheduled Monday‑Friday from 6 am to 2 pm. The Procurement Team Member at Beehive Meals plays a pivotal role in preparing and packaging high‑quality freezer meals, ensuring the consistent supply of ingredients for production.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain and update raw material inventory to ensure adequate supplies.
Resolve issues or discrepancies with orders and deliveries.
Update procurement‑related data and maintain records of purchases.
Put away food orders and rotate ingredients to maintain product quality (first‑in, first‑out).
Report any deviations or issues promptly to the production supervisor.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and company policies.
Adhere to sanitation guidelines, including handwashing and glove usage.
Collaborate with the production team to forecast production needs.
Communicate openly to maintain a harmonious and efficient work environment.
Adhere to all safety protocols and report any safety concerns promptly.
Physical/Sensory Demands
Stand for extended periods.
Use hands to handle food products and processing equipment.
Perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger movements.
Wear personal protective equipment.
Reach with arms or hands, including overhead.
Lift and carry objects from 15 to 75 lbs. throughout the day.
Job Type: Part‑time. Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour. Location: In person at Beehive Meals.
