The
Activities Manager , also titled
Active Life Manager , is a valuable member of our Petals Memory Care Program which provides our residents with supportive and person‑centered social connections to inspire joy, meaningful interactions, and life fulfillment. Some of the elements of our Petals Program include Physical Wellbeing, Creative Arts, Social Connections, Waters Academy, Integrated & Spiritual Therapies and Music & Arts Enrichment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Play a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Some examples of activities include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, off‑site excursions, etc.
Assist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements
Qualifications/Skills/Abilities
A love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions
Demonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families
Previous experience working with seniors and/or experience in memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred
The ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate
