The Buyer I will assist the Buying Team in expanding the selection by setting up new vendors and items, maintaining the product catalog, and managing pricing. This role involves new product launch coordination, maintaining product cost, retail price, content and images, vendor relations, and assisting with special projects. Additionally, the role supports and trains as a backup to the Control Buyer.

Support and train as a backup to the Control Buyer.
Essential Skills
Highly organized and self-motivated.
Detail oriented with strong computer skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
Understanding of data management and databases.
Ability to work in a demanding, teamwork-driven environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
1+ years of experience in a high volume, global procurement and operations manufacturing environment.
Experience managing and executing procurement needs for new product introduction programs.
Experience with ERP Systems, preferably Oracle EBS.
Basic SQL knowledge.
Work Environment The role is on-site, requiring presence five times a week. The work environment is demanding yet collegial, fostering teamwork as a core value.
Job Type & Location Contract position based out of North Reading, MA.
Pay And Benefits Pay range: $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
