Job Overview Are you passionate about driving digital transformation in healthcare? This role will shape how technology improves patient care and research opportunities. You will work with the Digital Health Team, Programme Manager, and Project Managers to deliver the change engagement process for the Trust’s digital programmes and projects.
Full time – 37.5 hours per week.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities Lead the future of digital engagement across the Trust. Work with clinical and operational teams to ensure successful adoption of digital solutions through change engagement plans.
Job Purpose
Support the Change engagement and deliver effective communication of a Trust‑wide Digital and Technology Services programme.
Develop and implement a strategy to positively raise the profile of the Great North Care Record and Digital and Technology Services.
Promote a positive image and identity of the public relations in each area of responsibility.
Support the development of websites and other promotional materials.
Develop, implement, and evaluate a range of communication projects.
Support engagement methods to gather data, present and receive feedback.
Provide regular updates on key communication, change engagement and marketing issues to internal groups.
Collaborate with programme leads, project managers and communications teams.
Identify risks and issues and propose mitigation plans.
Deliver specialist training.
Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria
Degree level education and relevant professional qualification, or postgraduate study to master’s level or equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
Recognised communications qualification.
Project and/or Programme Management qualification or equivalent experience.
Knowledge & Experience Essential criteria
Demonstrable experience in Change Engagement, public relations, communications, marketing, business management or journalism.
Well‑developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Experience in the NHS.
Computer literacy.
Knowledge of project management principles.
Experience with change management techniques in digital programmes/projects.
Experience analysing and reporting information/data.
Experience organising meetings for diverse audiences.
Experience of stakeholder engagement with multiple partners.
Experience interpreting national policy and direction.
Desirable criteria
Experience working in a Digital and Technology Service.
Experience delivering specialist training.
Skills & Abilities Essential criteria
Translate complex information clearly for all levels.
Produce high‑standard strategic documentation.
Work to tight timescales, managing multiple projects.
Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, guidelines and regulation.
Desirable criteria
Organisational skills.
Maintain websites and prepare suitable online copy.
