Position: Manage all employees of Marth Transportation in Wisconsin, promote safety, maintain relationships with suppliers and customers, increase EBITDA, train new employees, manage maintenance backlog, communicate between MTI and Marth Wood Shaving’s employees, align transportation needs with Plant Managers, become knowledgeable in trucking software and electronic logs systems, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Summary
The Marth Transportation Foreman is responsible for management of Marth Transportation, including employees, equipment, and customers. Reports to the Logistics Director.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Manage all employees of Marth Transportation in Wisconsin: Office Staff, Maintenance Staff and Drivers in Marathon and Peshtigo
Promote safety and OSHA reporting
Ensure communication between employees that leads to efficiency
Maintain relationships with raw material suppliers and finished good customers
Work to increase EBITDA for Marth Transportation
Train new employees
Manage maintenance backlog of trailer work
Lead communications between MTI and Marth Wood Shaving’s employees
Communicate with Plant Managers in Athens, Peshtigo and Hayward as needed to align transportation needs
Become very knowledgeable in Trucking Software and Electronic Logs systems
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
Complete other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent business experience
4 years’ experience managing a trucking fleet, drivers, and service technicians
Attention to detail and proactive communication style
Excellent Excel proficiency
Experience working with trucking software and E-Log Systems
Effective analytical skills
Accounting knowledge and strong written and verbal communications
