We are looking for a paint
Color Mix Specialist
to join our growing team in
Memphis, TN . The primary objective for this position is to complete and ship custom color match requests along with standard color requests within two business days.
Key Responsibilities
Tinting and matching paints and stain colors.
Maintain, and record accurate and appropriate records from customer orders, custom mixes, and colors.
Create presentation samples for customers.
Provide technical support on the different finishing products and applications.
Participate in demonstrations and assist in sales.
Work with inside sales team to provide solutions to customer needs.
Ensure all completed custom mixes are properly and visibly labeled.
Maintain a clean work environment by adhering to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Prior knowledge in paints, stains, solvents, wood species, and spray equipment.
Proven skill in color matching and spraying technique.
Good eye for color (must be able to pass a color‑blind test).
Ability to use and understand technology, e.g., Microsoft Office, ERP systems.
Good attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to lift 50‑100 lbs.
Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to change.
Minimum education: high school diploma.
Salary Range $21.00 – $23.00 per hour.
