Freight Pricing Analyst – Air & Ocean Logistics

About the Role
The Freight Pricing Analyst will be based onsite in
Redondo Beach
and will play a pivotal role supporting sales and operations through accurate, timely air and ocean freight pricing. This position focuses on preparing spot quotations, maintaining carrier rate data, and ensuring pricing integrity across a broad range of customer requirements and trade lanes.
This role is well suited for someone who enjoys the commercial mechanics of freight forwarding, understands how rate structures impact win rates and margins, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare competitive air and ocean freight spot quotations for import and export movements
Partner with sales teams to support both new business pursuits and existing customer needs
Negotiate, review, and manage carrier and vendor rates across multiple global trade lanes
Maintain and update rate data within CargoWise to ensure pricing accuracy
Review pricing requests to balance competitiveness with margin objectives
Coordinate with operations teams to validate routings, transit times, and service feasibility
Candidate Profile
Prior experience in freight forwarding pricing or operational roles (air and/or ocean)
Strong understanding of international freight rate structures, accessorials, and surcharges
Hands‑on experience using CargoWise
Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and time‑management skills
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross‑functionally
Based in or able to commute to
Redondo Beach, CA
