REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of two (2) years bank Teller experience required.
Proficient in English, reading, writing, and grammar skills
Analytical and mathematics skills
Communication, interpersonal relations and customer service skills
PC skills (including knowledge of job‑related software applications)
Ability to operate various office machines (currency counter, combination lock, check encoder, fax machine, passbook validator)
Ability to lift 50 pounds of coin
Visual and auditory skills
Strong Team Player
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent with an emphasis in a Business or Accounting curriculum.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Directly supervises UB1 and UB2 staff to ensure efficient and accurate teller services.
Ensures UB 1 and 2’s provide complete and accurate debit and credit services to customers.
Ensures all debits and credits, balancing, and operational activities are done efficiently and according to policy.
Ensures UB1 and 2s work as part of the customer service team and expand existing customer relationships.
Ensures all UB1s and 2s follow customer service standards.
Coordinates teller side work with other positions in the branch office, centralized operations personnel, and other Bank departments.
Conducts monthly teller side audits and assists Assistant Branch Manager with other audits and operational duties as needed.
Prepares accurate reports as assigned by the Assistant Branch Manager.
Maintains adequate cash supply for UB1s and 2s according to cash management policies.
Manages and balances vault, cash shipments, reconciliations, and cash transfers.
Balances night depository activity and ATM machines.
Reviews branch reports for accuracy and submits required reporting on time.
Participates in weekly branch meetings and planned meetings.
Acts as backup to the Assistant Manager, assisting with platform side duties and management when necessary.
Performs all UB 1 and UB 2 duties as outlined in their job descriptions.
Establishes specific goals for teller side with the Assistant Branch Manager and implements strategies to achieve them.
Determines work procedures, prepares schedules, and expedites workflow.
Adheres to laws and organizational policies promoting a harassment‑free workplace.
Supports internal policies and risk management for regulatory compliance.
Assists in new personnel selection and provides proper orientation and training.
Reviews employee performance during probation and thereafter.
Organizes, schedules, and distributes work among assigned personnel.
Keeps personnel informed of pertinent policies and promotes upward communication.
Administers personnel policies and procedures as per bank policy.
Communicates with the Assistant Branch Manager, other supervisors, and staff to integrate activities.
Provides timely reporting to the Assistant Branch Manager and other relevant groups.
Communicates effectively with BM, ABM, Regionals, and Back Office.
