This position is responsible for performing duties in a manner that ensures the highest level of finished product quality while maximizing operational efficiency. All work must be completed in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety standards, and established safety policies and procedures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate the Dupps 200U Supercooker, including full understanding of the feed system, temperature controls, and discharge system. Demonstrate working knowledge of the HPCR system, including proper operation and monitoring. Operate the Bird 24x38 centrifuge, including setting appropriate feed levels and performing required cleaning. Understand and operate pressor systems, including adjusting feed rates to prevent wet or greasy material. Learn and operate all equipment on the crax side of the Grinding Room. Assist with clearing material bridges in the Raw Receiving Pits and Surge Bin as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues within the above-mentioned systems. Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. Immediately clean all spills and ensure the work area is clean and orderly prior to shift change. FOOD SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES Complete all required documentation accurately and submit paperwork to the Operations Office at the end of each shift. Perform all tasks associated with designated Critical Control Points (CCPs) in accordance with food safety standards. Conduct routine Packed Tower and Air Scrubber inspections, demonstrating knowledge of system operation. Perform daily boiler checks, including start-up procedures and troubleshooting minor issues. Learn and support Feather Processing operations. Provide coverage for Feather Processing during lunch breaks and periods of absenteeism as needed. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or Up to three (3) months of related experience or training; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.
