What Your Role Looks Like The Maintenance Technician is focused on repairs of components and reports to the Maintenance Manager.

This role is ideal for someone who pays attention to detail (safety, quality, efficiency), has a strong work ethic and reliability, and is a problem‑solver. As a vital member of the Maintenance Department, you will have the opportunity to build a long‑term career with an industry leader.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the mechanical/electrical performance of several automated production machines or equipment that perform one or more functions in glass.

Maintain and observe operation of machines and equipment to ensure the production of high‑quality glass.

Diagnose or troubleshoot machines or equipment to determine malfunctions and the need for adjustment or repair.

Perform mechanical/electrical repairs and maintenance required for production, such as repairing or replacing defective parts, installing special functional and structural parts in devices.

If a malfunction of the machine is detected, stop the machine and adjust or repair as necessary.

Qualifications

Experienced skills with troubleshooting, repair, overhaul and operation of high‑speed production machinery.

Experience with industrial electrical equipment, PLCs/Drivers and motors.

Mechanical and electrical experience; ability to read electrical schematics.

Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, with hands‑on troubleshooting capabilities.

Familiarity with CMMS systems, strong attendance record, and flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed.
