POSITION SUMMARY Herschend Family Entertainment (HFE) is seeking a Project Manager to join our growing technology team supporting our theme parks, resorts, and attractions in our mission of Creating Memories Worth Repeating®.

This person will be responsible for managing projects or project work streams across various areas of the business to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery of high‑quality technology solutions. The right person for this role is comfortable leading technical projects, familiar with IT infrastructure, and is a results‑driven team player with strong communication skills.

This full‑time contract role at our Property Support Center is located in Peachtree Corners, Georgia, and reports to the Team Lead & Sr. Project Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support multiple technology projects or work streams at a time from project discovery and initiation through implementation serving as a Project Manager.

Develop Project Plan with scope, schedules, budget, and resources.

Identify, track, and manage risks and issues throughout the project, working to define a path to resolution.

Track project progress and report project status to stakeholders utilizing project management best practices and tools.

Coordinate cross‑functional business and technology teams to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery.

Communicate effectively with business and technology stakeholders for regular status reporting and escalations.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree (commensurate relevant experience may satisfy this requirement)

3‑5 years of experience in a project management role in an IT environment

Experience working in waterfall and Agile technology delivery teams

Experience managing IT infrastructure, system implementations, and/or software development projects strongly preferred

PMP and/or Agile Scrum Master certifications preferred

Experience in entertainment, hospitality, or retail industry preferred

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Action oriented and a team player with the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, dynamic, matrix management organization

Excellent communication skills and professional presence with the ability to establish trust and credibility through a dedication to excellence

Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities

Excellent meeting facilitation and presentation skills

Willingness to travel up to 20% based on project needs
