Role Specific Introduction The Commissioning Lead is a mid‑level position designed for experienced professionals ready to expand beyond technical execution into project leadership. This role serves as the next step beyond Commissioning Engineer and supports growth toward Project Manager or Commissioning Manager. The Commissioning Lead will coordinate day‑to‑day commissioning activities, oversee project deliverables, support business development, and mentor junior staff, while reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager and Regional Commissioning Lead.
Location This hybrid position is based out of our Los Angeles office, with flexibility for remote work and travel as project needs dictate.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Lead day‑to‑day commissioning activities, ensuring quality and consistency across deliverables.
Coordinate schedules, tasks, and deliverables for engineers and project contributors.
Serve as the liaison between stakeholders and the Senior Project Manager.
Review and contribute to commissioning deliverables including plans, test scripts, issues logs, and closeout documentation.
Support field execution, including job walks, site observations, pre‑functional and functional testing, and verification of system performance.
Track and report commissioning issues, resolutions, and progress to stakeholders.
Facilitate recurring commissioning meetings and ensure clear follow‑up actions.
Participate in stakeholder engagement meetings and translate technical requirements into actionable steps.
Support proposal development, fee estimating, and participation in bid walks.
Represent Faith Group at industry events, site visits, and client meetings to support business development.
Mentor and provide guidance to Commissioning Engineers and junior staff.
Demonstrate leadership and prepare for advancement toward a Project Manager or Commissioning Manager role.
Preferred Qualifications
4–6 years of commissioning, consulting, or construction administration experience, with demonstrated ability to lead tasks and coordinate small teams.
Experience commissioning low‑voltage systems, including networks, AV, security, and other building technology systems.
Airline/transportation industry experience preferred.
Familiarity with project management practices and tools.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to balance technical execution with coordination and stakeholder engagement.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (preferred).
Certifications: CxA, PMP, PE, or equivalent (preferred).

Salary is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate’s education, qualifications, and relevant experience.
