Flowers Foods & Subsidiaries invites applications for the Bread Production Supervisor position for the 3rd shift.

Position Summary Directs the operation of shift production, ensuring proper equipment usage, adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and employee compliance. The role requires competency in all on‑job activities that affect product safety, legality, and quality.
Responsibilities
Ensure that production technicians and outsourced labor are properly instructed in safe equipment operation.
Review records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials; perform continuous inspections of product to meet quality standards.
Ensure all equipment is in good operating condition.
Promote positive employee relations and interdepartmental communication.
Enforce safety policies and procedures, including inspections and safety meetings, to maintain a safe working environment.
Plan and adjust work assignments to cover all production phases.
Operate the facility metal detector(s) when required; operator must be fully trained and certified.
Ensure employee compliance with work rules.
Assist with employee training.
Make recommendations on disciplinary action and participate in the process as necessary.
Maintain cleanliness of work area.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes–Oxley, etc.).
Perform other duties deemed integral by management, including schedule fulfillment and attendance policies.
Preferred Qualifications
Two or more years of experience in plant production.
Essential Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of AIB Bakery Science Residence Program.
Completion of formal management skills training program.
