Licensed to practice law in Idaho (or ability to obtain licensure quickly). 3+ years of relevant civil legal experience, preferably in government or public sector. Eligible to practice in all Idaho state and federal courts. Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid drivers license and be insurable. View job description here What Youll do: Advise County departments and officials on civil legal matters and risk management. Represent the County in litigation, appeals, and administrative proceedings. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ordinances, and other legal documents. Attend public meetings and provide real-time legal guidance. Train County staff on legal compliance, ethics, and records management. Collaborate with outside counsel and insurers on complex litigation. You are willing to work evenings, weekends, and be on-call when necessary Youre the Right Fit if You are: Legally Savvy
