Up to $2,000 monthly bonuses averaging roughly $12 per hour. Up to $2,000 quarterly bonuses averaging roughly $4 per hour. Retention bonuses up to $2,500 per year. Role Overview The dental assistant (surgical assistant) at Nuvia Dental Implant Center assists surgeons and restorative dentists, enabling them to deliver safe, premium patient care. The role encompasses full scope responsibilities, from setup to procedure assistance, taking impressions, X‑rays, ordering supplies, and post‑op care. Responsibilities Live company core values Take impressions and pour molds Take patient photos Perform X‑rays and Cone Beam scans Schedule appointments via the scheduling platform Set up and clean operating rooms, ensuring no one is left behind Place orders for basic and implant supplies Adjust and reline prostheses Assist the doctor during a variety of surgical implant procedures Deliver pre‑ and post‑operative instructions Perform sterilization and daily cleaning Manage patient expectations and deliver top‑tier care Qualifications Dental Assistant with required state certifications Registered with the state if required Self‑starter who works well as part of a team Patient‑centric with strong communication skills Outgoing and empathetic Flexible and quick learner Excellent organizational skills and office aptitude A Day In The Life Surgery prep and start: Prepare instruments and patients, review expectations with the surgeon and CRNA, assist with intubation and surgery. Morning huddle: Review daily schedule and discuss specific patient needs with the team. Meet lab deadlines: Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines, ensuring prosthetics are delivered within 24 hours. Overcoming obstacles: Problem‑solve equipment challenges, patient delays, and concerns to keep processes running smoothly and deliver a top‑tier experience. Perform circular tasks: Keep operations running best by ordering supplies, sterilizing, ensuring compliance, and handling lab requests. End of day: Complete surgery reports, review patient charts, lab cases, and implants, and prepare the action plan for the following day.
