Phlebotomist Join Maria Parham Health, part of Lifepoint Health, as a Phlebotomist to help make communities healthier. Schedule Full‑time, varying shifts. How You'll Contribute A Phlebotomist collects and processes blood specimens for laboratory testing. Reports to the Director of Laboratory. Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing. Collects blood specimens using age‑appropriate techniques. Maintains equipment and medical supplies. Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors. What We're Looking For Applicants should hold a High School Diploma or equivalent and an approved nationally accredited training course or program in Phlebotomy (required). Additional qualifications include: Certification from ASCP or NHA is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
