Phlebotomist – STI Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work at a facility in Sterling, CO. These are registry positions with our company. Pay Rate: $28 / hour Employment Type: W2, open to part and full time Minimum Qualifications At least one year (12 months) of experience in Phlebotomy Must have up-to-date credentials in the state of CO Valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association) Ability to build rapport with patients Compassionate and caring demeanor Familiarity with medical terminology Job Responsibilities Collect and store blood samples from patients Distribute samples to designated departments Monitor storage and inventory of supplies Maintain a clean and healthy work environment Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures Practice proper patient identification Label vials with patient names and dates Decide the best method for drawing blood based on each patient Work with patients of varying ages and health statuses Be friendly, courteous, and sympathetic when interacting with patients Keep the phlebotomy cart or station well organized Practice infection control standards at all times when working with patients and equipment If interested, please apply through this job post.
