Job Description The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who visit for routine health needs or important diagnostic testing. The PSR I draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing while following established procedures. This role requires creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while performing phlebotomy in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner. Responsibilities Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Requirements Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric. Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Experience Minimum of 6 months experience required. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard and data entry experience required. Skills Phlebotomy.
