Surgery Scheduler, OPA Lake Otis - Anchorage, Full-Time Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Salary Range: $19.00 - $30.00 hourly

Your Role at OPA: As a Surgery Scheduler at OPA you will greatly contribute to the team by ensuring patient surgical needs by working collaboratively to ensure patients are scheduled for surgical appointments.
What Yo u’ll Do:
Primarily works with surgeons, medical staff, and patients to obtain a surgery date and schedule all components of surgery
Answer patient calls and follow up with patients
Able to handle multiple interruptions during the day while maintaining a high volume of surgery orders

Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year of clinical experience
Ability to understand medical charts and diagnosis for billing purposes
Experience using an electronic health records (EHR) software
