Key Responsibilities

Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed takeoffs

Analyze bid documents to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project

Prepare and submit competitive and accurate bid proposals

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment

Analyze market conditions, competition and pricing strategies

Maintain and utilize historical cost and production data to assist in securing new work

Participate in bid reviews with Chief Estimator and upper management

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

3+ years’ experience in the Water/Wastewater Construction Industry.

Minimum of 1 year of estimating experience

Knowledge of estimating software such as HCSS Heavybid, BlueBeam, Agtek

Knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project

Valid Driver’s license

Commute to office in Farmers Branch, TX
