Drywall Estimator
to join a fast-paced, collaborative estimating team. This organization handles a heavy mix of ground‑up multifamily, conversions, hotels, condos, and commercial interiors—ranging from quick‑turn small projects to large, complex builds exceeding $40M.
The team is growing rapidly, workload is high, and they are looking to bring on the right person

About the Role This drywall firm is experiencing strong growth and is seeking an experienced
Estimator
to join its Charleston team. This role is designed for a proven estimator who can take ownership of complex projects, deliver accurate pricing, and be trusted to run independently after onboarding.
You’ll work closely with leadership to price and win work while helping scale the estimating function as the company continues to grow throughout the Southeast.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed estimates for
light gauge framing and drywall projects
Price projects typically
$1M+ , with a focus on
$3M–$5M
scopes (larger projects a plus)
Perform quantity takeoffs and build complete bid packages
Collaborate with leadership during bid strategy and project closeout
Validate pricing accuracy and ensure estimates align with company standards
Support pursuit of new work, including healthcare and commercial projects
Required Experience & Skills
3+ years of construction estimating experience
Demonstrated experience estimating projects
north of $1M
Proficiency in
On-Screen Takeoff (OST)
required
Experience with
QuickBid
preferred (or similar estimating software)
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and materials
Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously
Stable work history (preference for candidates with solid tenure)
Preferred Experience
Experience estimating
healthcare projects
(hospitals, medical facilities)
Exposure to larger-scale projects ( $5M–$10M+ )
Background in drywall and/or light gauge framing
