POSITION SUMMARY The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for essential specialized support and executing all aspects of the onboarding process, ensuring that new employees are effectively integrated into the company culture and equipped with the necessary resources to succeed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, from offer acceptance to their first day on the job.
Coordinate onboarding schedules, including orientation sessions, training programs, and meetings with key stakeholders.
Ensure all necessary pre-employment checks, paperwork, and documentation are completed in a timely manner.
Partner closely with hiring managers, candidates and other stakeholders to deliver a consistent and efficient onboarding experience.
Respond to escalated ServiceNow ticket inquiries and resolve onboarding related items.
Ensure a seamless and positive experience for new hires as they transition into the organization.
Facilitate and monitor onboarding sessions for new candidate as an introduction to company policies, culture, and values.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure new hires receive comprehensive training and resources specific to their roles.
Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period.
Provide ongoing support to new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during their transition.
Conduct regular check-ins with new employees and their managers to ensure a smooth integration into the team.
Collect feedback from new hires on the onboarding experience and use insights to drive continuous improvement.
Maintain appropriate documentation for legal compliance in Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding process and implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with the Manager, Talent Acquisition and Onboarding, to develop and update onboarding materials, resources, and tools.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in onboarding to ensure the organization remains competitive.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Position serves both internal co-workers and external customers. Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information. Exhibit a basic understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
MINIMUM EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE Minimum 2-4 years related experience.
