Position Summary An immediate opportunity is available for an Over-the-Road Household Goods Company Driver based out of Greensboro, NC. We are seeking motivated, professional CDL‑A drivers who take pride in delivering quality service and representing Lawrence Companies on the road and in customers' homes. This position involves long‑distance travel and multiple overnight stays per trip.
What You’ll Do
Hit the road with confidence and operate company trucks safely and efficiently while following all DOT regulations.
Be the face of Lawrence Companies—deliver exceptional customer service and professionalism throughout every move.
Conduct walkthroughs, carefully wrap, pack, and secure customers' belongings for safe transport.
Lead the team, guide and motivate moving crews to ensure each job runs smoothly from start to finish.
Keep equipment ready to roll: inspect trucks and tools before and after each trip to maintain our high safety standards.
Stay organized and accountable—complete all required logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
What You Bring
A valid CDL‑A license (required) and a safe driving record.
At least 1 year of driving experience (preferred).
At least 6 months of household goods experience (must).
A customer‑first attitude and strong communication skills.
The ability to lift up to 100 lbs unassisted and stay active throughout the day.
Reliability in all weather conditions—rain or shine, you get the job done right.
A commitment to teamwork, safety, and professionalism every step of the way.
Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
